Elixir Technology is looking for suitable candidates to join our software engineering team in developing our Business Intelligence products used by hundreds of customers in various parts of the world.
Responsibilities:
This person goal is to test and critique our software to assure quality for release and identify potential improvement opportunities and projects. He/she will be working with our software R&D team to systematically find, investigate, report and track defects.
The primary tasks include creating test plans, setting up test environments, analyzing the results, interacting with R&D team to resolve the defects, and verifying documentations.
Primary Duties:
- Analyze product requirements for testability and completeness
- Test planning, including high-level test plans, detailed test cases etc
- Creating and executing automated test scripts using defined standards and best practices
- Plan, scope, schedule and implement test automation projects
- Test Elixir products as needed including functional, regression, and performance wise
- Report issues to bug tracking system and validate fixed issues
- Review results of manual test case creation and execution to define areas for further automation or improvement.
To do well in this job, you need to have an eye for details, systematic in thinking, having an analytical mind, a quick learner, a team player while being able to work independently with result-orientation towards meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or related. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Experience in interacting various operating systems (Windows and Non-Windows) databases such as MSSQL Server, Oracle
- Software testing (eg. Business Intelligences tools)
- Java and JavaScript
