Elixir Technology showcased its latest product line, Ambience, at Cloud Practitioners’ Day organized by Singapore Infocomm and Technology Federation (SiTF). This was held at Nanyang Polytechnic’s Theatre for the Arts. Lau Shih Hor, CEO of Elixir, gave a talk to address scalability in business analytics through Ambience and how this platform enables provisioning of Business Analytics as a Service (BAaS) on a pay-per-use basis. With the talk widely received by the audience, a good mix of students, IT professionals, developers, and architects registered for an afternoon workshop to delve into the various components and mechanisms of Ambience’s multi-server architecture. The brief hands-on session allowed participants to understand its architectural perspective and how it achieves its elastic scalability, multi-tenancy and pluggable components.
