This is the first time Elixir showcased not only its own Business Intelligence software, but also a suite of partner products that provides complementary e-Government related solutions in hardcopy security, document encryption and record management compliance.
Many attendees stopped by to look at the products and also quickly noticed the Wii Console and Wii Fit Bundle that was up for grabs. Though one's badge can just be scanned to enter the contest, most took up the challenge to answer the 5-Question Quiz to up their chances of winning.
With answers to be found on both Elixir’s large poster and the various partners' brochures on display, many found the quiz both informative and entertaining (especially the question on Cross Platform support!). Of course, many were hoping to be the lucky one!
On the last day of the show at 3pm, a small crowd gathered to witness the draw. To determine the lucky winner, the plan was to toss up the entry slips in the air and the one that landed on the Elixir CEO’s palm would be the winning slip. However, three slips landed on his palm, so there was a second round of tossing before the winner emerged. The Wii Bundle eventually went to a gentleman from Northrop Grumman.
