Elixir was in San Francisco from 5 to 9 May to unveil the latest Elixir Repertoire Plugin for NetBeans, the full-featured Business Intelligence Plugin for NetBeans at both the CommunityOne and JavaOne 2008.
CommunityOne is a free and open one-day event that allows developers and students to benefit from the diversity, innovation and choice of the free and open source ecosystem, whereas JavaOne is an annual conference by Sun Microsystems, primarily for Java developers to interact on the latest Java technologies.
During the exhibition, Elixir showcased the newly released NetBeans Plugin. With this Plugin, NetBeans developers can now easily add highly interactive and visually engaging BI functionality in building the next-generation Rich Internet Applications. Many attendees appreciated the power and ease of use of our Plugin, and were especially delighted to know that it is free for development use.
The Plugin provides NetBeans users with ready access within the IDE, making available a full range of Business Intelligence functionalities such as Dashboard, Report, Data ETL and Scheduling for users to incorporate within their applications. Once installed, users will be able to design and customize dashboards with interactive navigation between data and report, create complex reports easily with minimum coding, and define automation jobs with drag-and-drop support.
