SQL Star was looking to have BI components hosted with their Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution and Elixir Ambience, Elixir's Business Analytics on Cloud solution was found to be a right fit for their requirement to be able to scale accordingly on the cloud.

An official strategic alliance between the two parties was forged on 13 May 2011 whereby SQL Star will incorporate Elixir's BI into SQL Star's SaaS solution, targeting the Singapore and India market.

According to Lau Shih Hor, CEO of Elixir Technology, "The partnership is a win-win for both companies to help us extend our market reach into both countries and leveraging our strength and footprint in our respective countries and solutions."

banking and finance sectors

Based in the Philippines, the principal activity of iWAVE is the provision of software consultancy and services for financial institutions (foreign and domestic) specifically in the payment gateway, core banking systems and credit card systems. iWAVE clients include manufacturing firms, retail outlets and other companies that seek ways to improve operations through automation.

To further augment its core banking solutions and offerings, a strategic alliance was formed whereby iWAVE will promote Elixir's award-winning product, Elixir Repertoire, to the Philippines market, primarily to the banking and finance sector.
