Elixir Technology today announced a significant update to its report creation, modification and report output formats capabilities with the release of new Unified Reporting and Information Delivery functionality for Elixir Report Version 4.2. This functionality extends the state-of-the-art capability of Elixir Report Server and Elixir Report Professional to enable more flexible and powerful delivery formats to address wider range of report and information users.
Some highlights of the new features include:

Middle Eastern support for Bi-Directional (BIDI) Text display in PDF, XHTML, and other relevant formats.

New report output formats including Postscript, Line Printer (LPT) report output format in ASCII and Rich Text Format (RTF).

Enhanced report components such as rectangle with rounded corners and alignment control in Label and Boxed-In Text.

Enhanced PDF support with improved and streamlined font embedding support for TTC and TTF fonts, and URL support for PDF report output.

Enhanced XHTML with URL support for hyperlinking in report output.

Improved support for IBM DB2 database drivers in Elixir Report Query Builder.
