Elixir Technology held a pre-screening of “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” on 19th December 2007 as a bonus for our customers and partners. Guests were treated to a buffet reception and a game of treasure hunt at the VIP room – done up in Elixir’s award winning dashboard tool! At the end of the hunt, Paul Leon from the National Library Board outdid everyone and walked away with the much coveted Nintendo DS Lite, where his treasure quest continues.
All 230 customers and partners filled out the cinema hall which was especially booked for the private screening. After the collection of their free set of popcorn and soft drink, everyone tensed in their seats as they watched the latest National Treasure sequel.

The Elixir team was recently in Las Vegas, USA from 14 to 19 October, to attend the IBM Information On Demand (IOD) 2007 Conference.
The IBM IOD 2007 is an annual IBM premier event where IBM customers and partners can get the latest industry trends and in-depth information on a wide variety of Information Management Technical topics.
Ready for IBM DB2, Elixir was invited to participate in the EXPO Solution Center where IBM’s partners were to demonstrate their cutting edge solutions to IBM customers.
One of Elixir’s highpoint was walking away with the Crowd Pleaser award for the Demo ‘Til You Drop segment. Elixir CEO presented his 10 minute version of the product demonstration, mixed with snippets of the team’s after hour activity in Vegas. Ultimately, it was the “lethal” combination of work and leisure that earned Elixir the award.
“Winning the award was a pleasant surprise, and I attributed our win to the judges’ friendly interjection of interesting and animated remarks! Of course, our partner’s photograph with “aesthetic arts display” was certainly the icing on the cake that left an indelible impression with the crowd,” said Elixir’s CEO, Lau Shih Hor.
The IBM IOD is an annual premier information management event for business and IT professionals.
The IBM IOD global conference offers the most comprehensive educational program to help participants to take control of their enterprise information and infrastructure.
The event program included a series of seminars, product demonstrations, intense technical sessions, panel discussions from IBM’s foremost thinkers and technologists, and an EXPO Solution Center with more than 200 booths.

A night out to catch the pre-screening of 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' was what our customers and partners were treated to on 11th July 2007 - literally more than 1 day ahead of the official openings in the western hemisphere given Singapore's time zone. This is one small gesture of our appreciation for our customers and partners, particularly for those from the government sector this round.
Almost 200 partners and customers filled up the theater hall booked for the private screening. Armed with free popcorn and soft drinks, everyone became the privileged few to be among some of the firsts in the world to view the latest Harry Potter sequel.
For those who who missed out this round, do look forward to more of such appreciation activities in future. So stay tuned!
Elixir Technology at the IBM Partner ISV Event 2007

Elixir Technology recently attended the IBM Partner ISV Event 2007 held by IBM's ISV & Developer Relations team in Bintan, Indonesia on the 8 and 9 June 2007.
The 2 days networking session engaged all the delegates in updates on IBM's latest offering, followed by various activities such as golf and paintball. The event ended with plenty of new found friends and partners to venture out to new grounds together.
JavaWorld Day is the leading technology conference held for Java developers in Japan, where Japanese companies get together to discuss the upcoming trends in Java technology.
