The partnership gives Netprosys the right to sell and service Elixir Repertoire suite of products in the US market.

Elixir Technology Announces the Discontinuation of Elixir Report Server Development Kit

    Elixir Technology today officially discontinues the selling of Elixir Report Server Development Kit (ERSDK). In its place, one can now obtain the various components separately:

    1) API and Samples: provided free of charge in Elixir Report Server as Elixir Repertoire Demo Servlet (ER Demo).

    2) Elixir Report Server Edition - Dual-Engine for Development Use (ERSD-Dev): licensed separately.

    3) Elixir Report Professional Edition (ERP): licensed separately.

    Existing customers with valid maintenance contract of ERSDK will be issued separate licenses for ERSD-Dev and ERP with upgrade path as follows:

    a) ERSDK 3.0 or earlier: As these ERSDK licenses included ERP, ERSD-Dev, and ER Demo, upgrade releases of all these components are provided free of charge as part of the maintenance contract.

    b) ERSDK 4.0 or later: As these included only ERSD-Dev and ER Demo, upgrade releases of ERSD-Dev, which comes with ER Demo, is provided free of charge as part of the maintenance contract. ERP, which is not included in version 4.0 or later, has to be purchased separately.

    Please note that while customers can choose to use an older version of our software, there is an obsolescence policy that applies to extended support and maintenance of obsolete products, namely version 4 and before.

Elixir Technology Announces the Product Obsolescence for Elixir Report version 4.x

    With the release of Elixir Repertoire 6.0, Elixir Report version 4.x has now officially entered into an obsolescence period of 1 year.

    During this period, there will only be bug fixes, with no enhancement to be added. Customers who wish to continue using this version, along with support and maintenance, will need to go on extended support and maintenance contract, at 35%
    of the original license price.

  • Printing from Glint via the runtime API is implemented.
  • Documentation updates particularly on new API functions and features

Elixir Report Version 4.3.8 Released

Some highlights of the new features include:

  • Child process made to restart in server exception situations. This
    would be the default behaviour.
  • Improved handling of exceptions during rendering.
  • Improved shutdown behaviour with regard to invalid state transitions
    and other input output errors are eliminated.
  • Server logs are now handled exclusively by report.log.xml and
    process.log.xml. The LogService xml tag in report.config.xml is no
    longer applicable. Application.log is also deprecated, now the new name
    of the log will be Server.log.
  • Improved child process log handling. It will be renamed to
    child_processN.log instead of the clientprocessN.log as previously.
